Father Radovan Kodić was born in Jajce to father Jovo and mother Radojka. He completed elementary school “Nemanja Vlatković” in Šipovo in 2004, and then enrolled in the Seminary of Saint Arsenije Sremac in Sremski Karlovci. After finishing the seminary in 2008, he continued his theological studies at the Faculty of Theology of Saint Basil of Ostrog in Foča. By God’s grace, and with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Mitrofan, he married Ana in 2014, with whom he has two sons – Nikolaj and Lukijan. He was ordained to the rank of deacon in 2015 by Bishop Vasiliy of Srem at Fenek Monastery. By God’s grace, and with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Mitrofan, he arrived in Canada in 2017, first serving at the Monastery of the Holy Transfiguration in Milton, and then at Saint Nicholas Church on Nesh Street in Hamilton.
